Welcome to March!
We just had our annual Jog a thon and I want to say congratulations to Cari Vedder and Jack Van Camp for a job well done!! This is their first year chairing this event and they did a fantastic job! Thank you to the many, many volunteers that helped with this event. Also to all of the parents that were able to cheer on our students.
It’s great to see all those motivated faces! Coming up Friday, March 4th is our Science Family Fun Night with Mrs. Wenzel. Can’t wait to see what fascinating experiments she’ll have in store.
Next will be parent/teacher conferences along with the spring book fair. This book fair is a great opportunity for us to earn books for the library. Stop by before or after school and check it out!
Our next PTA meeting is Monday, March 21st. We will have Special Ed Chair, Mary Dambroger as our guest speaker. She is on the council level of PTA and is a former O’Neill Elementary parent. Mary will give us some great insight on our special needs students. We will also be holding our election for the 2011-2012 PTA board, so you don’t want to miss it!
