Well, it’s hard to believe we’re hitting the home stretch of the school year! It’s unbelievable how fast time flies!
The second annual Book Fair was a great success. Thanks to our new co-chairs, Kathy Karns and Kathy Eubanks for making this such a special event! Thank you to the many volunteers that also contributed to the Book Fair. Without volunteers, these events would not happen!
I hope everyone enjoyed our Science Family Fun Night with Mrs. Marilyn Wenzel. There were some fun experiments and crazy creatures featured this year. The students and the parents really enjoyed themselves.
Thanks to Cari Cohn-Morros for inviting the Special-Ed Chairperson from Council, Mary Damkroger, to our last PTA meeting. Mary was able to give us insight on the challenges that many people face every day that most of us take for granted. This is a great opportunity not just for the students, but for the adults as well to learn patience and get an understanding of these challenges. It was great to learn of some of the challenges and to learn of people that have had great success in life in spite of them. Don’t forget spring break is coming up! Hope everyone has some great things planned and spend some quality, family time together!
